Virginia Sondergeld is an economist at the Indeed Hiring Lab, focusing on the German labor market. She recently submitted her PhD thesis, which examines women in leadership positions and their impact on labor market and firm outcomes, at Free University Berlin. During her PhD, Virginia worked as a research associate at the German Institute for Economic Research. Previously, she was an economic consultant at NERA. She also founded the non-profit organization The Women in Economics Initiative, which she led for five years. Virginia holds an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from Goethe University Frankfurt.
